About us

Quality and experience

The name ‘MultiTech Music Workshop’ represents the expansive range of repair services offered to customers through the technical ability of it’s owner. Anton grew up with music in the family & has played various instruments including sax, trumpet, drums & percussion in bands & groups over the years.

After serving an apprenticeship & gaining experience in machine maintenance he chose to merge his love of music with his technical abilities. To gain a grounding in the musical instrument world he enrolled as a student on the Musical Instrument Technology (MIT) course at Merton College in Surrey. The completion of his time there helped toward maximizing the experience through the variety of skills offered by the course at the time.

During his studies Anton was fortunate to be taught by some renowned and respected fellows in the business and he feels extremely fortunate to have benefitted from the scope of their combined knowledge. He describes his experience at Merton College as ‘inspirational & influential’.

He qualified with a City & Guilds Higher Award in 1995 & went on to work in a number of well known & established music shops gaining first hand experience before starting MultiTech in 2003.
